Roberto Capone, a prestigious chef in Italy. Roberto Capone is a fan of Spanish gastronomy and he is back at La Terrazza. The Italian has been running several restaurants for more than three decades that have become reference places in the Sierra Norte of Madrid. Roberto uses the seasonal products offered by the natural environment to prepare succulent seasonal dishes.
After a long international career that has led him to carry out his profession in more than a dozen restaurants around the world. Roberto Capone has been distinguished with the Five Stars of Italian Cuisine (Stella D’Italia) for his commitment to guarantee the quality and authenticity of Italian gastronomy. He defines his cuisine as a Mediterranean fusion where Italian and Spanish elements converge. His dishes are characterized by the quality of the products he uses and by their simplicity of preparation. Paradigm of the Italian character, Roberto is extroverted, funny, spontaneous and curious.
Roberto Capone is now a chef of the restaurant La Antigua Tahona, in Rascafría.
Roberto has been in the kitchen of his restaurant for more than 30 years, where it is possible to taste authentic Italian delicacies (artisan pizzas in a wood oven, fresh homemade pasta, risotto, tiramisu), succulent roasts and seasonal dishes made with the ingredients offered by the wonderful natural environment of the Sierra Norte de Madrid.
Together with our Executive Chef Raffaele, he will be joining La Terrazza’s kitchen in Kensington to showcase best of produce of Spain with a fresh Italian Twist.

Of all the different regions, areas and provinces of Italy, Tuscany is responsible for some of the most famous heart-warming dishes to come out of the country. Located in central Italy along the Tyrrhenian coast, Tuscany is home to some of the world’s most notable wine regions. Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are primarily made with Sangiovese grape whereas the Vernaccia grape is the basis of the white Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Tuscany produces the third highest volume of DOC/G quality wines. Explore the flavours of Tuscan cuisine with the regional tasting menu inspired by Chef Rafaelle and La Terrazza team travels throughout Italy over the last 20 years. The menu will highlight special producers and Tuscan regional ingredients alongside specially curated wine pairings.
